Durango, Dgo., July 4, 2026. As part of the actions to strengthen innovation and technological upgrading in the furniture industry, the Cluster carried out the workshop “Ilumileds: Smart Solutions for Furniture and Spaces”, a specialized training space focused on the latest trends in lighting, automation, and design applied to furniture.
During the two days, participants included staff from partner companies Mobelia, MIR Ingeniería, AguiLares Carpintería y Loft Interiorismo, as well as members of the Institute of Forestry and Wood Industry (ISIMA-UJED), in addition to architects, designers, and professionals interested in strengthening their knowledge of technological solutions for furniture and spaces.
Throughout the workshop, attendees learned about practical applications of LED lighting systems, aluminum profiles for furniture, and automation solutions, combining theoretical sessions with hands-on demonstrations that made it possible to understand the potential of these technologies for developing more functional, efficient, and innovative projects.
The event also encouraged the exchange of experiences among companies, specialists, and professionals in the sector, strengthening collaboration and the adoption of tools that help raise the competitiveness of the furniture industry.
This workshop was made possible thanks to the collaboration of Ilumileds & Grupo LOZ, who shared their experience and technical expertise, as well as the support of ISIMA-UJED, reaffirming the importance of joint efforts between businesses, academia, and strategic partners to drive innovation in the state.
