Durango, Dgo., July 4, 2026.<\/strong> As part of the actions to strengthen the competitiveness of the furniture industry, the Furniture and Accessories Innovation Cluster of Durango (CIMAD), in collaboration with the Academia Arauco<\/strong>held the second training session of the program “Smart Pricing para el Mueble”<\/strong>, aimed at providing strategic tools for pricing and business decision-making.<\/p>

The training brought together staff from partner companies SCALA, Mobelia, Julieta Interiorismo, AguiLares Carpinter\u00eda y \u00danico Studio<\/strong>, as well as architects, designers, business owners, and professionals in the sector, who strengthened their knowledge through methodologies focused on generating value, profitability, and business competitiveness.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

During the session, participants analyzed strategies to optimize pricing structures, understand customer-perceived value, and develop models to improve the profitability of their projects and companies, incorporating practical tools applicable to today's market challenges.<\/p>

The session also encouraged the exchange of experiences among companies and specialists in the sector, strengthening collaboration and knowledge-sharing as key elements to drive the professionalization of the furniture industry in Durango.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

This training was made possible through the collaboration between Academia Arauco<\/strong>, who shared their technical and business expertise, and the Institute of Forestry and Wood Industry (ISIMA-UJED)<\/strong>, who provided their facilities to host the event, reaffirming the importance of joint efforts between industry, academia, and supporting organizations.<\/p>

From the CIMAD<\/strong> we continue promoting specialized training opportunities that enable companies to develop new capabilities, strengthen their competitiveness, and respond to market trends and challenges, building a collaborative and innovative ecosystem for the furniture industry.<\/p>
